My site is on a DigitalOcean machine, and uses nginx. So I mostly followed The helpful howto on DigitalOcean itself.
So you have an image. And you want it on the right, with text flowing around it on the left. And you’re using Markdown to write your blog posts.
The default css in Jekyll is simple. Which is great; Jekyll is a bare-bones system that you customize. And it’s easy to add bootstrap via sass.
Jekyll is great. But creating posts files with names like “2015-09-06-creating-posts-in-jekyll.md” calls out to be scripted.
